Cowboy Scrapping Challenge

This is the album I intend to use for my PBR pictures and fan stuff. A bull riding scrapbook if you will. The album is Creative Memories 8.5x11 in Denim. I bought a leather "Wrangler" sticker/patch from my lss to put on the front. It looks like the leather thingy on the waistband on jeans. I think it will be perfect.

This is where all the cowboys signed at the Tater Porter Invitational. Not actually ALL the cowboys, but the ones who were available for autographs. My challenge will be working pictures around their signatures. A mistake maybe, but I liked the idea of them signing directly in my album and not on separate papers which i would likely lose or crinkle. When I get it done, I'll post the results. Consider this the before picture. Posted by Picasa

Happy Stampy-Scrappy Birthday!

I think this is truly the most fabulous card I've ever laid eyes on! It was lovingly crafted by one of my favorite stampers and friend Linda. It has tons of layers. The yarn is pop dotted. The most inspired, smartest, creative part of this card (in my opinion of course) is the straight pins for needles! I can't even believe how cute it its! Fine masterpiece would have been gift aplenty, but wait... that wasn't all....

This too. A wonderful green suede album. It's kind of like a box when you open it. Linda thinks I should stamp it with some brown staz-on. While I think this is a great idea, I'm feeling very chicken. Can you say "bock bock"? I would die if I messed it up! Staz-on, while it is one of my favorite inks, is not the most forgiving if you know what I mean!

This is a totally crappy picture of the inside of the green album. Hopefully you get the idea. Posted by Picasa

Finally, some Stampin' Up!

This is a Sara Binder Address Book. They come plain- just kind of press boardy with notebook rings. Then you alter them. This was done as a going away gift for a coworker of my sisters. The spine was "painted" with chalk ink and the rest covered in SU designer paper and ribbons. I really like the retro vibe this has. Then next pic is a card holder lunch tin covered with matching paper and little stamped dividers.

Memoranza

An overnight crop. How much do I love a good overnight crop! I always come away feeling I got so much done! This time it was a big trip to Disney book and my trip to Europe. We had a great time scrappin', yaking, and letting someone else take care of the food. A great time was had by all.
