Keep Your Eyes Peeled for the Spring Mini

Oh yea! Stampin' Up! does it again. Now I haven't seen it myself, but the girls who just got back from the Leadership Meeting are all abuzz. Here's the dirt (start saving your money now, I'm gonna be dead broke!):

-Huge new monogram stamps. At least the size of our background stamps. AND, they come mounted. Yipee!

-Two sided paper!!!!! How long have I been begging for this one???? Forever. And, I've seen a couple of pictures of it and doggone! it's gorgeous.

-Stamp Sets. Wow, just you wait and see! And a cute new flower punch!

-Oh boy! Save that money!!!!

Paper Girl Living in a Digi World

If you're a scrapper, no doubt you've heard all the digi scrapping buzz going on. If you read the mags or the 'net, you like me, are probably convinced you're the only one who hasn't given it a try.

Well, I jumped in with both feet and gave it a try. Last Saturday I went to my LSS and took a digital scrapbooking class. It was very informative and I went home to promptly give it a shot.

Yeah, right. It took me darn near all night to complete a page that I'm not that happy with. The idea in my head was great, but the computer was unwilling to cooperate. Photoshop Elements is not an easy program if you are wanting to do the really artsy stuff. In fact, I could be wrong, but I'm thinking you need a degree in graphic design to really figure the whole thing out. Argh!

I think my relationship with paper, stamps, ink and all that accompanies it is in no real danger. I am looking forward to doing some fun stuff to my pictures though. Technology is our friend.....

Here's my digi page:

Bookmaking

Help me! I just can't quit making books! No book is safe. I have to alter it some way. It is turning into an obsession, and is a lot of fun!

See what I mean? Give it a try!

The First one is my planner for the year. The second one, (with the H) is an address book for my mom (the H is for Haven). The third (brownish) one is a small sized notebook for stuff I've just got to write down and won't fit in my planner. The fourth one (red with white stamped flowers) is a circle journal for my Sister sister.
And the last one (with the big S) is a 3 ring notebook for some classes I'm taking.

Welcome!

This is my new spot on the web to chat about 2 of my favorite things. Scrapbooking and stamping. Here you will find the latest related news, class schedules, and pictures of projects I have been working on.

Here are a couple to start us off:
